What is RFS?
The ALEC RFS (Request for Solution) process is a submission process to evaluate RFID solutions for hard-to-tag product and packaging categories. Each product and packaging type is denoted by a unique RFS number and is driven by demand from end users.
Each product and packaging type below may pose challenges regarding RFID application, including product materials, packaging materials, or merchandising considerations. Proposed solutions submitted below will be evaluated for potential adoption in retail stores. Submissions will not be publicly distributed, and will only be communicated back to requesting end users.
