ARC provides a single, open benchmark testing facility where tags are tested to published testing standards. ARC maintains a database of this test information, and uses it in conjunction with requirements from various end users to create approved lists of tags and tagging practices for RFID compliance. ARC provides detailed tag performance feedback to the Manufacturer. Tags are not publicly ranked beyond their abilities to meet specific Performance Specification thresholds, and specific test performance information is only shared with Manufacturer permission.
ARC develops and maintains Specs for various RFID deployments that Manufacturers use to develop tags that meet the end user’s requirements. These Specs are available to Inlay Manufacturers on request.
